On the personal side, my wife Cindy and I have spent our entire work lives at the same workplaces. Cindy as a nurse at Lurie Children’s Hospital and me at ShankerValleau. Our lives have been continually enriched over the years by the individuals we have been privileged to serve.
Our three children, their three, wonderful, spouses and our four grandchildren are all nearby and what life is all about. After all of these years, we still split our time between our two home towns, in Illinois and in Wisconsin.
I enjoy reading, running, ice skating, paddle boarding and whatever sport I can cajole a family member to play.
“Even if you are on the right track, you will get run over if you just sit there.” Will Rogers
